Background

My love for fitness began around 10 years ago when I started to attend my local gym. I was instantly hooked on how amazing exercise made me feel. Not only was I losing weight and becoming more toned, I started to sleep better, had more energy and wasn’t out of breath having climbed up a flight of stairs!

In 2007 I qualified as a level 3 Personal Trainer just after I had my daughter which then triggered off my interest in exercising whilst pregnant, and was amazed by the lack of support and information available for new moms who wanted to exercise during their pregnancy. And in 2011 this led me to gaining a further specialist qualification in pre and post natal exercise.

Why I Chose To Be A Fitness Professional

It has always been my dream to be a personal trainer. From my personal experience I know how exercise can give you a much better quality of life in so many ways. Keeping fit doesn’t mean having to slog it in the gym for hours. I want to teach people that by using a variety of training methods, workouts can be kept interesting, fun and rewarding.

When I became pregnant I had a lot of mixed messages on what training methods were suitable for me and feel a lot of women will not take part in exercise at all because of this uncertainty. There’s also the huge pressure on women to lose the baby weight as soon as the baby is born. Through correct advice and support I want expectant and new moms to feel confident enough to keep active during this precious time and experience the many benefits for both mother and baby.

I also completely understand that modern life can be hectic and it isn’t easy to keep motivated, but with my knowledge and passion I am dedicated to helping you achieve your goals and maintain them.
